It may have been a few years since we got a new Toy Story movie, but this is a franchise that will live in our hearts forever. Woody and Buzz are basically our own childhood heroes at this point, and the rest of the gang might as well be our best friends. Over the years, we've had the pleasure of following them through countless video games, but what are the best Toy Story video games of all time?
It dates back to the mid-1990s, when the firsttoy storyit was a whole new phenomenon, and for the modern age, we've rounded up 10 Toy Story games we can't live without. Reach for the skies!
10. Toy Story Mania

Toy Story Maniacontains a series of mini-games based on everyone's favorite toys. As in other party games, there is no main story, but rather a selection of fun challenges that you can take part in.
Toy Story ManiaBased on the real life Toy Story Midway Mania attraction found at Disney World California. Without a story, it's not based on the characters that make the franchise so endearing, but it's a fun board game brought to life by familiar faces.
9. Buzz Lightyear de Star Command

Being able to play as Buzz is great, and using a ray gun never gets old. Especially when there don't seem to be any signs of intelligent life anywhere. It's notquiteas epic as the bright startToy Story 2where Buzz fights Kaiser Zurg, and it's pretty dated now. But hey, playing as Buzz Lightyear is a win in our book, making it one of the best Toy Story games of all time. And with a Buzz Lightyear movie on the way, this one seems more relevant than ever.
8. Toy Story

A side scrolling adventuretoy storyclosely follows the events of the first film. He is already a bit old, but in 1995 he convinced us; Back then, the visuals were great and really captured the essence of the movie.
Most of the levels were played from Woody's point of view. With her trusty lasso in hand, players can jump on enemies and defeat them. We also need R.C. on some levels to keep the game varied and fresh. This is not only one of the best Toy Story games, but it is also one of our favorite movie hookup games of all time. A true classic.
7. Disney's Extreme Skateboarding Adventure

Developed by Toys for Bob,An extreme adventure of skateboarding from DisneyIt's not just a Toy Story game. In fact, it features many Disney favorites walking around like they're Tony Hawk. there are characters outsidetarzanmiThe Lion Kingthere, but it's Toy Story that interests us the most.
Take control of Woody or Buzz and skate down a track in Andy's room. There are challenges to complete, or you can just play freely and roam as you please.
Fact: The game engine used toAn extreme adventure of skateboarding from Disneyis the same one used to createPro Skater Tony Hawks 4. This is really the real deal.
6. Kingdom Hearts 3

Here is the newest game on the list. And we're taking some liberties here. Naturally,kingdom hearts 3It's not strictly a Toy Story game. But thisYIt's still one of the best Toy Story games, thanks to its "Toy Box" kingdom; a world based on the Toy Story franchise, where Sora and company will meet Woody and a host of other familiar faces.
To be honest, seeing Woody and Buzz interact with the toy versions of Sora, Donald, and Goofy is a gift that just keeps on giving. Unfortunately, time is short in Toy Box Kingdom. I wish we could have spent more time exploring Andy's room - it looks real.
5. Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventure

Rush: A Disney Pixar Adventureis an enchanting platform game that takes players on a journey through six worlds based on the Pixar movies. There ishoch,The Incredibles,coaches, ratatouille, Findet Doryof course,toy story.
Each world comes with its own set of challenges, secrets to discover, and a short narrative that guides players through the three levels that make up that world. Each one is only an hour or two long, but offers faithful recreations of Pixar movies. Of course, the world of Toy Story is our favorite. It features characters from every film in the franchise and places them in settings that any fan of the series will instantly recognise. We love.

With 12 characters to unlock in Toy Story, you'll want to keep playing until you unlock them all. The courses are also varied and creative; from Andy's Room to Pizza Planet, it's a true fan service for the Toy Story franchise.For kart fans, this is one of the best Toy Story based games.
3. Disney Infinity

Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear en Retungis a platform game based on, no surprises here,Toy Story 2Follow Buzz as he rescues other favorite characters from the movie, featuring famous locations like Andy's house, Al's Toy Barn, and even the airport terminal. Andy's house is a particular highlight for us, and there's never a dull moment to explore his room.

And there you have it: the best Toy Story game of all time. Once you play it, we are sure you will understand. This is a two part game. The “campaign” closely follows the events ofToy Story 3, with players taking control of Woody, Buzz, and Jessie as they explore different locations from the movie.
But it is the secondary mode of the game, the Toy Box mode, whereToy Story 3: Or Video Gamereally stands out. Based on Woody's Roundup, a fictional TV show, Toy Box mode allows players to build a city and take on endless missions from Mayor Hamm and other townspeople. Since there is so much to do and discover, we never tire of playing this mode. We just wish there was a modernized version. Disney please!
